Welcome to Easy Crafts on a Budget!

I'm Fuego Phoenix. I enjoy creating paper crafts, kids crafts, and crafts from recyled materials.

I created the book, Easy Crafts on a Budget for Kids 4 to 104, to share easy arts and crafts for kids, with you.

One project in my new book, cubism collage, is inspired by the mosaics of Pompeii.

I transfered the idea of mosaics to paper. My grandson experimented with geometric

shapes to create colorful pictures out of paper. This project alone, helped my grandson’s geometry

comprehension soar. The idea parallels the Waldorf method of teaching, developed by Rudolf Steiner,

in 1919, which is based on a developmental approach, successfully addressing the needs of a

child, transforming education into an art, educating the whole child: the heart and the hands, as well

as the head.
